Genesis, Root, Origin

Artists in any field do not start at their best. Their craft starts with an interest they pursue out of curiosity or, in some cases, necessity. As artists, our craft was once a seed of curiosity that grew as we watered it with our sweat and tears from laboring over the work which becomes our art. The seed takes root in our souls which becomes apart of our identity as artists, musicians, creatives and writers. As the roots grow from watering, flowers and leaves begin to bloom. And, how beautiful they bloom.

DRALA is a publication that celebrates these seeds, roots, and blossoms of artists.

Issue II features emerging artists of various disciplines that share their stories about what they get out of doing their work. We understand these artists from their words and on their own terms.
